Looking for a newer model kayak. Was wondering if anyone has an outback they've though of selling.

I seen an 2019 model and they're nice.

Thanks

I have a friend who has an 14-15 Outback he wants to get rid of...
He’s not sure  what the value is yet?

If you want something made within the last couple of years, you're probably not going to save a bundle as compared to new. The flip side of that is that if you ever decide to sell, a Hobie will maintain its value, assuming you take care of it.

So, you might want to consider new...
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

Im happy with an older one if anyones selling one (hopefully newer than 2010) but still okay with non vantage seat etc.

So I have a few thoughts, and my background is a new outback, an old outback, and an older outback.

IMO the newest version is worth the extra $$. If you can’t swing that then a 15-18 with the vantage seat would be second. 14 or older with the puddle seat would be last.

Newest version is quiet (no hull slap), has better storage, is faster (more length at waterline), and is way more stable (I can stand comfortably in a new one, not so much an old one).

I appreciate the replies and input. I will look into finding a newer version. Hopefully at a great price.
Thanks again
