 Hi everyone,
Just interested to hear about different perspectives regarding the proposed Point Molate development project that will be on this upcoming November ballot here in Richmond.
Heard a broadcast of interviews from indigenous/conservation perspective on KPFA today that was very anti-development and pro conservation.
Apparently there is an important eel grass bed nearby that would be greatly affected as well is a negative consequence to Richmond taxpayers long term.
Thoughts/opinions?
This will affect our local fishery and we should be having a debate about it’s potential impact.
Chime in please!

If they are planning on building residential, they need a law in place to prevent anybody suing the refinery.   Like he Livermore lady who has a house near the end of the runway and after several lawsuits about noise, the judge told her she goes to jail for contempt if she sues again.   What did you expect buying a house at the end of a runway.   As to the area, make a nice park, and would be nice to fix the road out to San Pablo yacht harbor.   Use to be a nice place to launch in the late 50’s early 60’s.   Used to fish off the shore by the old ferry docks as a kid.   Would make a nice place to have nice condos and open space, but building next to refinery should preclude any lawsuits against the refinery.
