This my crab/lobster pot mount for Hobie Oasis.  I made it out of 1/2" PVC and able to disassemble easily for storage.
After I load pots, I use two bungees to strap them down.

I made a flat surface out of ply wood , store behind me, then turn around in the yak and work backwards
