Oooh, I'm glad to learn of these tips! I'm going to Spicer Meadows in the near future and will try your techniques, especially the "scent tank" in the footwell. Scent has worked for me, too, but I'm not very methodical about applying it. That will change... Thanks!

Fished Spicer last year and had great success. Make the long paddle to the far end where the inlet stream is. Fish the structure around the inlet with spinners, kastmasters or super dupers or royal wolf flies. The royal wolfs were the bomb.
