Not a Blind Melon reference... sorry.  Just read this article - https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/Drought-conditions-found-in-23-of-California-15089172.php

Pulled this quote "If the forecast holds true, San Francisco will record its first February without any rainfall since 1864."

Not good.   :smt011

not good is right, but it is great for getting out on the water and staying dry.  Last year was the opposite, constant rain it seemed.

We’ve had less than an inch of rain up here this month, third or fourth driest on record.

The rain 2 and 3 years ago and blowing out the river (and Oroville), made for some killer salmon and halibut and striped bass (at least up here by the feather) for last year and presumably this year as well. Definitely not a good sign for salmon and such in a few years down the line, but good weather now

Many fishermen spend their lives chasing fish, only to realize that it was themselves that they were chasing.

The "Salty" in my handle refers to my attitude, not the waters I fish
