Slower at Bean Hollow 7-13

Sorry for the late post...i got to Bean Hollow at 6AM to find the gate locked with the sign saying "Open 8AM to Sunset." (anyone know about this? Do they ever open earlier?)

So, I went north about a half mile to a little parking lot with a gravel beach and launched there. I had to drag the yak over rocks, but the water was flat as a lake, so it was cake.

Fishing was slow overall. I had two lings follow me to the the boat, and I hooked one but he shook the hook. I also caught 3 blacks and a cabezon and released two more cabs. Slow fishing but one of the nicest days I've ever seen on the ocean.

  Still sounds good,  I sure wanted to get back out there yesterday,  can't wait to hear how Bean does compared to Bodega..........Danglin
