Here’s a link to the ever popular drysuit sale items:  https://www.coastwatersports.com/sailing-drysuits-c-579_584_580.html

This is the place where I got my awesome drysuit for <$500 shipped. Free shipping takes about 3 business days.

The price point is good. Questions:
How does it perform/last?
Do you pedal or paddle?
What are your pros/cons on it?

For those who use dry suits, how are they on the warm days?

I had a drysuit back in the days when we water skied a lot, but that wasn’t anything like being in one for most of the day while fishing. And, on the boat it was easy enough to strip out of when it got warm. I can’t imagine wearing the one I had back then all day, so I wonder if the current models are more breathable, etc.

Suits are fine on warm days.  I mainly fish the salt so the water temp is still on the cool side.  I adjust my insulation layer to something thinner.  If I get hot, I just dip my hands and feet in the water, which cools me down so I'm not sweating in my suit.  I always find it surprising how easy it is to cool off by dangling my feet in the water.

Not a fan. We used to sell them here and nobody bought them. They are just overkill in my opinion for our area. I tried one out on a winter day years back and still got way overheated. I just stick with a farmer john and use layers when necessary. Also, as an ex SCUBA instructor the maintenance on dry suits can be a bit crazy. Gaskets ware out all the time.
