Someone told me that fishing the stream that feeds Florence Lake after October 15 is great for nice size Browns and Rainbows spawning. I went up yesterday and found it to be true.  Landed several nice sized Browns that I released back in to the stream. I believe Edison Lake to be a similar experience. I took my Hobie Outback and paddled to the far end of the lake arriving at about 1:30 pm. The fish were similar in size to the one where I laid my fly rod along side the fish to show size comparison. The large rocks don’t show the actual size of the fish landed. I kept one fish caught while trolling back and twitching a Wooly Bugger fly to the boat launch area. I would recommend a trip before the snow falls, ASAP. As you can, their is ice located at the edge of the stream. It gets cold this time of year.

Beautiful country up there.  Been a while but we camped at a "Hosted" campsite almost below the dam.  Witnessed the most awesome lightning show blow in over the large bald mountain just east of the campsite.  Felt the front pass as the temperature dropped a bunch, then clouds broiled over the mountain then the light show started!
