Hey All  :smt006,

A relative noob to this great sport checking in. The little kayak fishing experience I have thus far has been out of an Aquaglide inflatable, which I used to nab Halis by the SC Wharf. Also used to float around by Cowell Beach in my bass fishing float tube, but I don’t think that counts.

I live and breath angling of all kinds, and I’m currently studying Marine Biology at UCSC. In the near future I hope to turn my passion for the ocean and its wonders into conservation efforts and a career in fisheries management.

I’ll be fishing the local reefs in Santa Cruz with my newly purchased grey PA 12 with a buddy this Saturday AM, so if you’re out and about, say hey. I’ll be tuned to Ch. 69 on my radio.

Thanks for having me on and I look forward to contributing!

Sincerely,
Kevin

Welcome, and I'm sure I'll see you on the water in Santa Cruz sometime...

It was great @Deepwater. Flat conditions in the morning. Caught a short ling, saw some Humpbacks and a Mola Mola.
