Launched out of leffingwell at 6:30, to decent conditions, light wind, swell was not bad at all.  Overcast, and I never saw the sun. the wind stayed about the same all day for me.  Could have stayed out longer than I did but the fishing was so darn slow. went south out of leffingwell fished in 35-55 FOW.  with little success.  Got three fish in 5 hours, A tiny yellow and Black, a decent sugar Bass, and a 25" ling.  so I was able to go home with some decent fillets.   :smt001 a couple pics:

J you are right, any day with a legal ling can't be too bad.  amazing how much darker that fish looks in the picture from when I pulled it out of the water, I thought it looked like a kelp bass, which Is what I and maybe some others call a sugar bass
