Still thinking about it, as I could spend the time mounting my FF and building the p/s for it.  But I wanted to throw a shout out that I may be going to SC tomorrow morning, launching from the harbor to try again for some halibut, rockfish, or just tease the smelt.  Conditions Fri-Sun look about the same from the forecasts I see, but fairly hot out there.  Probably be there around 6:30, but will be shooting to be off the water by noon before wind picks up.  Will have VHF for sure, monitoring good old 69.

I'll be fishing tomorrow, possibly from Santa Cruz, though MBK is an option, as is Davenport. I'm off to dinner, but I'll check in later this evening and see what's cooking.

Regards,

Paul

I'm heading out of Capitola about the same time.  Butt crack of dawn and lunch on the pier with wife and daughter at noon.  If it wasn't for the family meeting me, I'd meet up with you.  First time on the board and looking to land a barndoor.  Still need to finish rigging.  I'll be the guy trying to figure out how to land a fish.  Good luck and give a shout with a report, I'll do the same on 69.

Nice to meet you, and welcome to the board!!!

Btw, got another friend to sign up.  Hopefully the live bait guy will be out nice and early tomorrow.  See you guys on the water!
