Rockaway 10/2...

Met up with Eelkram and fellow yaker "Mark" bright and early.  Shortly after launching Eelkram was the first to hook up on chrome.  Sadly it was a short.  Eelkram caught another short and both Mark and I caught a salmon each, but once again shorties.  Mine was maybe 14" or so.  Not much bait or bird activity.

Later in the day we tried our luck at rock fish and did well.  4 lings between us and a handful of nice rock fish.  I will be trying HMB next week and hoping to get lucky w/ something over 20"!

Nope not me... I rarely fish weekends. 

Good to know. I’m off sundays and mondays so I usually try to fish Monday’s to avoid the crowds.
