We arrived at the launch location at 8:15pm. Weather was nice, cool and a little breezy.

Noticed the ramp was backed up a little, but was cleared quickly for our reserved launch time at 8:30pm.

Conditions at the fishing site were great, friendly, cheerful and helpful.
The first catch was a plater of fried calamari and three sides of clam chowder. It didn't put up much of fight and was dealt with quickly.

Then my wife Andie hooked into a nice Mahi Mahi. I think it was encrusted with macadamia nuts. Along with that, she caught a side of pasta and veggies. She handled this one like a champ.

Eric landed bowl of Sicilian Holiday Pasta that contained a mix of scallops, clams, muscles, calamari, fish and octopus. All of this on top a bed of pasta and sauce. He loved his catch and dispatched all of it.

I was lucky to score a nice salmon fillet covered with capers in a very nice Piccata sauce. I also landed a side of pasta with veggies that were perfectly cooked. Very tasty..I've caught one like this before and hope to again next time we fish here. :smt001

Our last battle was with a  "Death by Chocolate" cake and a Crème brûlée.
OMG!!!! Too much to handle! :smt005

Eric was satisfied with our choice of locations. He had a nice stretch and belly scratching after dinner.

As we were getting ready to leave, I got one more bite. Turned out to be the biggest catch of the day..it was worth it. :smt003

If anyone is interested, I'll pm our secret location,
Al

Thanks for the  great report. Next time my wife and I are down there we will have to explore the depths of their menu. I assume the usual baits work well.

Bill,
Depending on your group and size of required catch, I would suggest multiple medium to large green paper baits. Of course, any major plastic bait will get the job done. :smt002

That place is great.  We almost went there for our anniversary but decided on French food instead.  Sometimes the wait can be quite long though.
