Martin Beach HMB area

Has anyone launched from Martin beach lately.
How is parking and access

Interested to hear more. Never launched from there, but willing to tag along with veteran if someone doesn't mind taking me along.

Unless the land owner had decided to open the gate and give car access (which I don't think is the case), you'd have to walk your kayak down from the highway. Going down might be okay, but coming back up would be a chore. There are always a few spots you could park near the gated entrance. There are easier places to catch rock fish.

definitely not going for rockfish...nor salmon...
