I initially had a ruff start for the first 2 hours and couldn't get a bite to save my life, I marked salmon all up and down the water column with no takers. After that my fishfinder/GPS went out and had to used the good ole hand held emergency compass since visibility was around 50'.

Once I got situated, I removed flasher I was using and hooked up before I could finish cranking down my downrigger. I eventually limited on 2 nice Salmon in about 15 min at 8:30 on the south side of Pedro in 80' of water 30' OTW

Hopefully you all enjoy the footage as much as I enjoyed figuring out how to use a compass again. Thanks and see you all on the water!

Nice! That's my favorite kind of conditions for fishing. But the last time I had to go compass-only, I ended up a few miles off course. That made for a good workout...

Nice work as always, Jae. It looks like you are rigging the FBR with two hooks?

Jae,
You're sooo good! I need to learn to adapt.
Happy for you, bro!
Congrats.

Nice vid, Jae!  Check out the part where you popped out your Mirage drive.  A little more force and it will be in the drink.  No leash on that thing?

With the amount of surf launches I do I really should leash it. I'll add one for the next trip! thanks for the reminder.
