The guy with the drone was back again at Rockaway and captured another sighting of a GWS near shore around 1 pm.  Just thought I'd give the heads up, no surfers in the water after that.  I was fishing on the other side of pedro and saw 20-30 fresh newborn seals hanging out near the water.  I heard they like the babies because they're higher in fat?

That in combo with the swell forecast for the weekend might make it an easy decision to stay at home.. unless someone wants to point towards where the halibut are these days?
