Malones and Yakimas are a one trick pony. I can load this one up with all kinds of camping gear or haul stuff to the dump. It is a custom build made with the front axle of some ancient GM car. Thing weighs a bout 500 lbs. but pulls like a dream. Lots of good ideas here. http://texaskayakfisherman.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=121567&sid=879dba870016f21dac5748a3bdfad799

Sometimes a one trick pony is all that will fit in your stable :smt002

Lots of cool ideas on that link if I had more room I would probably make something more flexible, but the Malone fits my kayak transport needs perfectly and tows great.
