Looking to install Humminbird FF Helix 7 Chirp Mega SI GPS G3 on 2019/2020 outback
? is mounting the transducer. Will it fit? See talk about a pop up feature that lets transducer raise up if hit a object? Also see guards can be installed?
Have not seen any thing specific for outback though?
If anyone has done a mount, any info will be help full
Thanks

I have a 2020 Outback and installed the same exact unit. I found this video that was helpful except that I did not have the Hobie hummingbird adapter. I proceeded with the install and it ended up being a disaster with zipties and marine goop basically holding everything all together. My end results are similar to what is in the video and is pretty solid so I figure I'm going to try it out and rock it until it fails and if it does, I will go try to buy the $12 adapter piece and a new Hobie Guardian plate and duplicate the install as in the video. Good luck.

That looks like the deal. Looks like I’ll eventually be reinstalling mine.
