I hadn't had a problem with sea sickness in the kayak until I spent 5-6 hours in heavy swells at Shelter Cove. Once I get sick it takes awhile to get my tolerance back up, ...

Interesting. I'd never had much of any problem with seasickness, but was out in rough conditions for 7.5 hours recently and afterwards felt like I was getting a case of "mal de debarquement syndrom" (MdDS or disembarkment syndrome) as the world continued to rock and roll for quite a while. That finally went away, but when I went out for the first time since (just a couple days ago), I had to cut it short after 3 hours as it was really getting to me, and that was in the mildest of conditions. I'm hoping to get back some endurance soon...
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Actually yesterday in the evening, I felt super nauseous. So nauseous in fact that I just went to bed early. I attributed it to something off in my dinner, but maybe...

it definitely makes me sleepy, so much so I've been looking at the scopalamine patches.

I never used to get seasick until recently, I've got a family history of vertigo, so I've got that going for me at least :|.

the last time I was out on the water I forgot to dose until I launched, and didn't take any out on the water with me for 6+ hours, and I was fine in some medium conditions, I think I was way too concentrated on trying to get on the board at the PBOA tournament in Crescent City to even think about being seasick though.

it's usually only when I have enough time to think about getting nauseous that I do.
