Sounds like I'll be going with my gut feeling- this thing is getting salty! Hope the vis isn't too bad, going to start the day under water and then float on top after. Thanks again guys!

The 90 is a great gun...unless the viz is really bad and/or the holes are super tight/awkward you should be fine...if have two bands prolly just load one for close range holes to decrease chances of getting shaft stuck...

On good viz days you will really like having the extra range and power...

Here's a vid of a few dives last year that show the 90 (the gun with the red band) taking a nice Ling in a tight crack, some Blacks out in the open, and a solid Red from a hole:

 

And one from 2015 from down in BigSur using the 90 to take Ling/Reds/Cab/Olive/Sheep:

 
 
But like Antonio said, having a backup gun is always a good idea as well  :smt002

I'd keep the 90.  You can always get a 60 if you find yourself North Coast hole hunting a lot.
