Anyone try to modify their C-Tug Kayak wheels for sand?  (I don't have the Sand trakz wheels and I don't want to spend another $100+ for a new cart) I don't quite understand the physics of how a wheel can move through a sand with the least resistance.  I believe minimizing PSI, pounds per square inch, is key and I've read the wheel should "conform" to the shape of the surface thereby reducing the berm that is created from a wheel that has dug down in to the sand.  I thought of adhering a half sphere of pool noodle to the outer circumference of the wheel.  I also thought of retro fitting a pneumatic ballon tire but this would require a new axle. Any advice would be appreciated.  :smt006

You’re overthinking bro. Do yourself a favor, sell those wheels and get a balloon wheel cart (brand of your choice). Think of it as a long term investment.
