I have a new Trident 13.  On the outboard port side, next to me, are two wells nuts and I have no idea why they're there or what one would do with them.  You can see them in overhead pictures of the 2017- Tridents.

Does anyone know why they're there or what they're for?

(They aren't a problem, just a mystery)

If it's what I'm thinking, those are for a paddle clip.
