as seen in How Do You Roll:
http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=14071.msg908931#msg908931

Racks have been removed--gonna try to get 'em on the new car, if that fails, I'll include them.

I'm asking $1500 on CL, but would happily sell it to one of youse for $1000 / obo / trade. Save me from the scammers, please!

Price dropping to $800 on CL. I clearly over estimated the local SF bay area market. Nigeria? Totally different story.

Bunches of pictures and an overly-verbose description of the good, bad, and ugly here:

Thanks,

Ron

That's the nice thing about these, you can't get 'em going fast enough for them to be dangerous. OK, that's not true, but it does take a LONG time for that to happen.

Oh I have drove my wife’s previous 2000 BMW at some breakneck speeds but the death would come from the bullet from her for spending money on cars to play with!

Btw at 15 miles an hour in the right hands any car can get ya killed ........ especially if it’s in front of me in 35mph zone.

I rode motorcycles when I was younger (braver is more like it) after 165mph shit starts to get real intense. Got the BMW going 125mph on the freeway when I test drove it, luckily the dealership owner was a customer on my garbage route and hand picked my salesman ahead of time  :smt002
But seriously if I was closer I’d likely pick that up with my kid for a work car, he commutes 120 miles a day for work at a body shop.

True. This car gets, um, "puckering" when you get it to over 80. It's like having a built-in speed limiter. Mostly it's wind and road noise reminding you that no, this is made for 65mph and lower.

It'd be a great commuter for someone with that long a commute and no budget for a hybrid. 120 miles takes only 3 gallons of fuel.
