Hey guys

One of my buddies has a 10ft native slayer. Would it be able to handle oyster point so he can fish for halibut?

Thanks

Can he manage it like a boss?...safety...know his limits...read the weather well...if you answer yes to all these inquiries than it sounds like a big fat green light. Best if he didn't go alone I suspect...at least for starters... :smt006

Plus current can get fierce all over the bay. If the current was ripping and the paddle was into a headwind that 10ft boat would suck. That being said, it seems a lot safer than some other options

I have the slayer 10 propel. It's a great boat. I have fished the bay and ocean. You just have to be smart and know when to not go or when to to go in. I think that's the golden rule anyway. No fish is worth your life!

Slayer 10 will be perfectly fine for the bay on the right day.  Just watch the wind. It's probably the most seaworthy pedal drive in its size class.
