I have two old scupper pro's and they rubber gasket part of the hatch seal has come off.  I tried to glue it with marine goop, but it didn't really work.  Has anyone come up with a good solution for fixing these things.
Thanks,
Leaky in Santa Rosa

...call Vince at Aquan Sports (650) 593.6060. He has a shop in his store and does repairs, installments and modifications.

didn't your boy scwafish suggest 5200 marine adhesive for all things polyethylene?

I tried goop for mine and it isn't working either...

still don't get a ton of leakage up there, do you? seems like the overhang of the lid
and the height causes not too much leakage.

Dave.... I would forget about trying to glue the gasket back to the hatch.  I would just glue a some pipe insulation to the hatch opening as they did in this article:

5200 is great on poly...super strong...just make sure you love it cause its gonna be permanent or close to it.

3M weatherstrip adhesive for cars is also and excellent product, but I have not tried it on a yak.  Chuck's link looks great.  Feel free to meet for lunch and I'll have a look at old blue, or we can do it this weekend...the forecast has me EXCITED!!!
