Looks like Wheeleez (Rolleez) has got a mini yak cart available with some low-profile dubs (22cm).  Has anyone tried it? How'd it do?

Not tried it, I have the bigger "standard" wheels, and I'd be afraid the smaller ones would get bogged down in the sand more, and almost certainly would not do the lumps and bumps as well - a lot of time I'm rolling it over small stairs, uneven dirt, etc. . And it can still be a load pulling it up a steep beach.   But my wheels just barely fit in my P15 hatch, so smaller ones would be good for that or for yaks with smaller hatches.

Angel - I think they'll do just fine - I'll be getting one from Hook1 soon  :smt002

I also have the older model, although I haven't had many opportunities to use it yet, but I was thinking that the smaller size may be beneficial in some situations.

The mini is priced at $129, the older model is $169...but of course the $40 difference doesn't do any good if the product doesn't work as well.

Looks like the wheels may be made of a different material too...don't know if that's good or bad.

Anyway, just thought I'd ask if anyone had any experience with them.

Would they be interchangeable with the thinner nobby tires on some of the carts out there?

I'm looking at getting the mini rolleez or the all terrain cart and I'm wondering if Mooch or anybody else got the mini and how do you like it? Is there any reason why I shouldn't get the all terrain cart? http://kayakfishingstuff.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=AllTerrainCart

I got mini and returned it and got the bigger tires. It seemed like the mini wheels are made more for sit-inside-kayaks. I found that the straps were too short to wrap around my P15. There may have been some improvements made so don't take my word for it. It would be best to contact the dealer and get more info. before making the purchase.

Jay - I highly recommend the rolleez rather than the all terrain cart.....in fact, I believe that the rolleez is THE ALL TERRAIN CART :smt045 (just my 2 cents)

One thing the Rollez rep said at the HMB event was that they corrected the short strap issue so I would not be worried about that issue. Someone won one at the derby, maybe they can comment?
