Planning to go surf fishing for stripers on 3/18. Company would be nice
Usually free on weekdays if 3/18 does not work out
I got a second set of gear other than waders if anyone wants to try it out!

Went out for an hour at sunset on Monday 3/18. Saw plenty of guys on the beach near the tides hotel.
Conditions were decent. The waves could catch you by surprise if you weren't paying attention.
Talked to a couple guys on my walk and they said they caught their limit a previous day in Salinas.
I tried a minnow lure for most of the time and had no bites. Next time I will probably try sandcrabs, or a resin jig.
Either way, it was fun to get back out to surf fishing. Will continue to go weekly depending on conditions
