Anyone know who made these or what they are called?  They have a flat profile top/bottom that makes them thinner/flatter than the usual pours.  The thin profile gives them much better action.

I stocked up on these about 10-15 years ago and can't remember where I even picked them up.  If I can find them again I'd rather buy a bunch instead of having to rig up to pour my own.

I think they’re called paddle tail worm. There’s so many brands out there so it’s hard to pinpoint who specifically makes the ones pictured.

It’s not the one you are looking for but the strike king dreamshot has the flat half like that. It’s a good dropshot bait.

I’d answer your question, but you’re kind of a Jerk  :smt044

I gotta grin a bit every time someone makes the connection.   :smt001

I've tried some of the half flat (open pour) style and they just don't work as well as these.  After days of searching I can't find anything similar to these either, not even a mold.  It's looking like I may have to start making a mold and spooling up to pour some of these.  The worms are so thin they don't last long, one short hit or snag and it's torn, but the extra wiggle from the thin profile is worth it for me.

Last thing I need is another project and more crap in my garage.  :smt011

Thanks for the input folks!!

They are called a spade tail worm, but I don't know that brand.

Those were made by yamamoto. The flat tail worm. Looks like they were discontinued quite a while ago. I have about 10 packs of them in green pumpkin. I thought I was getting a good deal on cut tail worms when I ordered them. They are so thin I have only been able to drop shot them. How are you rigging them?

That's it!!!!  Bummer they're discontinued so I guess I really am stuck with my own pour.

I rig them drop shot, Texas or Carolina rig with a small hook.  They are so thin and rip so easy I go through twice as many as larger worms but, they work great when the bite is super slow.
