Went rockfishing at Greyhound in my yak.  There is (apparently) a rock band from Greyhound Rock to the rock at the south end of the bay.  The tide was way out and waves were periodically breaking across the entire entrance of the bay as they went over this shallow section.  This made for a bit of excitement on the way out.  Although I saw fish on my scope, I did not get any biters.  I had some old frozen clams for bait, but should have stopped and gotten some anchovies (which always seem to work).  After about an hour and a half I headed back in.

You actually made it up that dreaded hill with your kayak?  :smt118 I'll give you an A+ for your efforts  :worship :worship :worship Last time I was there, I nearly blew out my breakfast just trying make it back with my yak in tow  :smt011

That day, Ethan caught a nice Halibut straight out - in 100 ft. of water. I scored some big blacks right next to a kelp patty using a sparkle green scampi. Josh caught his share as well.

I've seen party boats and six-pack charters hit that place too  :smt011

Mooch better give Dan more than an A++++; he too owns a lead sled (hobie) like mine! :smt001 I've heard that climb is nasty, but never done it myself.

Sucked to have gotten skunked for such an effort!! Next time Dan.

Yeah, you want ratcheting wheels with anti-reverse.  Holding the kayak in place between huffs of pulling was very hard.  Might be easier with 2 guys and no cart - or a winch...
