Yes the owners are really nice and the grass shrimp when in season is super fresh. Kayaking to open water is about 3 miles. Be careful cause the slough is narrow, especially during low tide, and the boats go by kinda fast. I live only 10 minutes away and it’s a good place to get out without having to drive too far.
