I've heard that Tomales Bay has been a bit slow on the crabbing, but I'm going to give it a try.  I'm taking a newbie crabbing with me.  Hopefully we get enough for some Christmas Eve appetizers.   On the water around 7 am.

Are you planning on launching at Nick's?
if I'm not fishing I'm probably thinking about fishing

Outstanding day on the water!  Absolutely flat and no wind, met up with Snazzyshun as well!  The only thing that would have made it better was catching some legal dungies.  I had heard that crabbing at Tomales was down, but truly didn't expect the reality.  Good news is that there a lot of tiny dungies attacking the bait, so they will probably be ready in a couple of years.
