Looks a little "gimmicky".  For the price of that, you can get a real fishfinder & not have to risk a cell phone or ipad device on the water.  Interesting concept, I just think it is a bit early in the life of this type of device.

OTOH, I have a waterproof, floating Android phone.  :smt003  And there's a waterproof Android tablet available with an 8" screen. Interesting. They have videos online.  I was just wondering if anybody around here has tried it.
Thank yuh...Thank yuh verra much.

Your IPhone costs wayy more than a decent fishfinder.  Fishfinders are good at what they do, iphones are good (enough) at what they do, nary the twain should meet.  :smt001

or this:  (what I use) http://fishfinders.factoryoutletstore.com/details/1379-45525/humminbird-561-ff.html

the screen is bigger, you can watch the charts AND talk on the pohone, or better still have phone somewhere safe.

Nice technology, but not really great for kayaking IMHO
Less Mental than before, Still savage AF tho <3

H-bird tried it with a wrist watch & a bobber transducer you attach to your fishing line.  Remember that one?  No?  There's the reason why......  lol
