Not much to do after work so i went to the SC wharf to check out the Anchovie bit :smt001 chilled for a coupole of hrs. jigging for the little guys. No mackerel in the mix though, just some Jacksmelt.

Awesome way to save some money is by making your own tray bait, salt them to stiffen them up over night then rinse, clean, package and freeze em and your good to go!

Good catching bait, I also use the sand fleas from the local beaches.

are they big enough? My buddy was catching some the other day, they were significantly smaller than green label tray chovies
