Bought this when I had a Pro Angler hoping to rig it up, but it never even made it out of the box.

Fresh water or salt water rated?

That's the freshwater version, but you can use it just fine in saltwater.  I've used the freshwater 55lb and 30lb in saltwater and they worked great and never failed.  $75 for new is a good deal!!!

I also have a C2 30lb USED for sale, not to highjack your thread...   

Mine is used (in saltwater) and does not come with the transom mount, only the motor.  It also has been re-wired with longer battery cables.  $35
