Good evening.

My name is Corey. I'm a 45 year old father of 2 and fisherman from Davis. I've been lurking for a while and decided to jump in.

I'm new to ocean kayaking and hoping to go for my first trip later this week or next, depending upon the seas (SF area for salmon). I'll be using a Hobie Compass for that.

I've been duck hunting the delta out of a kayak (Native Ultimate) for the last 4 years. But figured I need to add some more year round activities and fishing the salt is where i'll start. Looking forward to meeting some of you and hopefully, seeing you on the water.

Welcome to the madness. Be sure to check out the safety section before fishing the salt. Lots of good info on necessary safety gear.

Hey, Corey. I’m largely Davis based also, but spend my kayak fishing time in Capitola/Santa Cruz. Been kayaking there for years. Happy to hook up sometime.
