Hi guys my name is Rich and I live in Santa Cruz. I am new to the board, I got some time off this summer and am hoping to dive some weekdays & “peak days”.

I am itching to get in the water next week, we’ll have some medium high tides in the AM which should bode well for hunting. It looks like there is a bit of swell in the forecast but not too bad.

I am pretty open / flexible as far as location, we can decide the evening before based on the forecast conditions. I am still fairly novice so I am looking for relatively calm conditions, and more importantly (for me) good vis.

I just got a Banks Board and would like to try it out for a shore dive. But if conditions dictate another location with a longer paddle then I'm OK with bringing the kayak

Thanks,
Rich

We're diving SWS on Sunday at 8a if you want to join. PM me for details.

I dive nearly every weekend in Carmel/Bigsur/PG so let me know if you wanna tag along. How far are you willing to kick with that banks board? Do you have a kayak?

it's weird that swell is calling for 8-10 ft with 3-5ft wind waves and both last night and this morning, driving by Lovers point looked like a lake out there. flat calm in the bay.
