A few of you know I moved back to MN. I wanted to take a few minutes and say Thank you to NCKA. When I first moved out to CA I was apprehensive about going out on the Salt water in a kayak. My first trip was for Simply in 2016. Cptsloppywood and Scottymeboy welcomed me in with open arms and made sure I was safe out on the salt for the first time. Each trip I made with this group was always a community looking after each other. In today's world this is a rare thing.

It says a lot about a community when members reach out and really try to help new people out. I have watched NCKA go out of their way time and time again to help a member out when the need arose; whether it was gear, money, emotional and sometimes physical support.

From the bottom of my heart I thank each and every one of you for making this Midwesterner feel welcome. You are a very special group. If you ever want to come get some Northern, Pike, Walleye or monster Muskie just say the word; I'll take you to my favorite lakes and you always have a place to crash.

Have a wonderful season, stay safe and happy fishing.

More like 10000... You must be counting every mud puddle.

Native Iowan here. As a kid, I spent a lot of time fishing in Minnesota---caught many fish in the BWCA and my biggest northern was from Lake Kabetogama.
I don't like stuff that sucks.
