I know there has been some talk about being able to install a sail on the santa cruz g2, and i think I've seen a prototype video, but are there any production sail kits available?

Ive been thinking of getting an AI, but a g2 with a sail may also fit the bill?

I had a G2 and modified it to use the Hobie sail. Here's a short video (not much wind that day, so not too exciting):

It was a bit tricky to install the Hobie sail---you might be better off with a sail that uses stays to hold it in place, or adding some to the Hobie sail.

That was a fun kayak to sail and definitely much more stable than my Adventure/Revo 16 with the small sail (and no amas).  I've now got an AI, and it's in a league of it's own wrt sailing, but of course it should be for the price...

Are you pondering what I’m pondering?
