How do you guys prevent or deal with the damage of salt water on your fish finder connections?  I'm pretty good about rinsing everything the minute I get home but my connections are obviously not happy.  I was thinking a good cleaning then some die electric grease but thought I would ask the masses.

I pack all my electrical connections with a heavy dose of dielectric grease and reapply frequently.

Clean it with some electrical connection spray, emery cloth or 1000/1500 grit sand paper and pack both sides of the connection with some dielectric grease.

Also something to keep in mind besides the fish finder is the VHF battery connections and any antenna/mic ports or the FF battery connections.
