I'll be out with my family camping memorial weekend at Doran Beach. If anyone is in the area and needs a fishing buddy, let me know!

I was out there today and it was a big tide. There must be been close to 50 guys out there digging clams in the harbor. Might be a fun thing to do with the family of the tides are right. Have fun.

Good stuff. I will be doing this with the family. Really looking forward to getting out on the water though and fishing!

If you're going to dig for clams, then be aware that there's a warning to not eat bivalve shellfish.

An advisory wont keep everyone at bay from harvesting them  :smt003

It has me scared enough if I would ever dig again in tomales bay.

Of course not.  You should see the environmental conditions in Asia, yet people still forage food from the ground and waters.... Taste Great!.... until the next morning.
