When I was fishing at Timber Cove today I snagged what I thought was the bottom. I wasn’t able to work it free so I decided to pull as hard as I could and hope for the best. I was happy that it pulled free and I didn’t lose my brand new Shimano jig. When I got it to the surface I found an extra surprise. However I don’t know if it’s plant or animal. Does anyone recognize it?

Kinda looks looks like the stomach muscle of a ling (right at the opening).  Likely swollowed the trebel whole and then dove onto the rocks.  I have only had this happen when fishing diamond irons...
