Fishing rod help

Good evening!!!  I am looking for a little advise/help on selecting a fishing rod. I want to get a rod for halibut both Pacific and Cali. I would be primarily drifting bait with it for halibut. But I also want to be able to fish for albacore with it if given the opportunity. I would be pairing it with either a Seigler or Avet reel. I am fine purchasing a name brand rod or even getting a custom one made.  I would be fishing from my PA 14 with it. Thank you for the input. Tight lines.
