Fishing Attractant or Pollutant?

The old cans said fish oil was an ingredient.

Years ago I went fishing with a guide in Bridgeport res. The guide was a "friend of my dad's friend" and well into his 70s. Very friendly & knowledgeable and we caught limits of FAT rainbows. But he was adamant that we coat our powerbait/crawler combo in WD40 before each cast. And it worked.

Yeah, proven the same thing at an undisclosed lake a number of years ago for trout.  50+ people fishing along the bank, elbow to elbow with the same damn color power bait.  I was hookin' & bookin' while they were standing idle.

I pee in my wetsuit all day long...is that a pollutant as well?

I think mammalian pee is an attractant for very large fish.
