Yeah, I'd like to do the Elk gathering one of these years too.  I'm pretty much anchored in Humboldt due to family obligations, but that's not too bad to deal with.   :smt001  As for recruiting more yak-fisherpeople up this way, I'm working with Hawk on that, and I'm hoping his mothership venture gains some momentum this Summer.  I'd really like to tag along and help him introduce some folks to openwater yak-fishing.  I'm trying to analyze my obsession with catching big fish and hope to transcend to a point where I am content to just drink in the wonder of being on the ocean in a kayak, appreciating the resources, and enjoying the company of like-minded people.  Baby steps...   I've got a way to go on that goal!  :smt001
