American river hook up Sunday 4/22

Last I heard, levels of E. coli bacteria found in the lower American River exceed the federal threshold for safe recreational use, in part due to human waste from homeless camps.

Folsom lake and lake natoma had the same readings. Since last year most waterways are now "unsafe " I think I will take my chances besides if you read there reasoning it's crazy they blame homeless and goose poop. It's just like Mercury levels and lead. If you want perfectly clean water it's gone! Jaria and ecolie are everywhere.

it's all bad or it's who is researching state parks Folsom lake claims we should not alarm the public because they want state evidence from there research.

e-coli levels on the lower American are at their lowest for the year reported this morning, what ever that means, so don't let my earlier post scare off anyone.

Good luck fishing! I think everyone was scared I went and grabbed 2 stripedbass one on a fluke and one on the troll guys are starting to try for shad so I think soon should be great with the full moon close

I like to use the SIK when flows are down and the water warms up LOL!

It's all just need cause there ain't nothing else to report about! Lame...ecoli and pollution has always been in our local river waters..nothing new people. Going fishing 2nite. Watch what I pull out from my Ecoli infested waters....
