Saw Rich around 10:00 am ready to go... to our kids Birthday Parties.  We were at the Safeway Bakery picking up cakes for our kids B-Day parties.  The water was nice and doable but it wasn't to be today.  On a bright note I noticed the first substantial bait to move into the cove this year.  Birds were working about the cove line from Rockaway to Pedro. Nothing crazy but the first action of the year.

The only negative right now for LM is the wind. I wanted to head out on Sunday but the wind was blowing and white capes were out in force.  There are many beach run stripers though. I am going to target them this week.

I drove by LM yesterday afternoon - I knew it was gusty and so I headed towards HMB to check out the trash bin by the boat launch....saw a couple of salmon heads - nothing big but it was a welcome sign :smt002 Also got to meet the resident otter......which I have named "little nibbles" as he had total control of the docks  :smt066
