day 1 lake county tour

 The crew had driven all night from SD but still they were ready to get on the water. The wind was a factor but we capitalized on the periods of calm and caught alot of smaller fish with a few in the 3-5# range. The fish were off of the shoreline and edges about 10-12' in 6-10' of water. Victims were taken on spinner baits and senkos of varios flavors.  Fatigue set in and we went back to the lair for BBQ and brews. Heading out again now to the northend (S of lakeport). hopefully we will have a lunker to post.

Hey Terry, I'm taking my final today and I'll be free to fish! It has been windeee anyways and hope it lays down this week. I hope to fish w/ your crew. Topwater in the morning should be good. Speaking of topwater, anyone read the sunday Chronicle report on the great topwwater at Berryessa? I've never been there.
I also want to fish and take a break at the Richmund. Pinball anyone?

 I havnt been ripping but Ive been throwing a fat floating crank and working it similairly. No success though.

 Mendo is tommorrow morning and then C-lake again on wednesday. PM me your cell# and we will hook up. We have fished the Richmund park territory the last 2 evenings with good success and will probably end up there everynight this week.
