Scotty low-pro gear track

Hey all, anybody try the new Scotty gear tracks?  I'm wondering if they will accommodate other brand equipment.   I'm thinking the 1" would be perfect for the Yak Attack cupholder I won at the Crabfest on the mod pod of mt OK t13.  Thanks

I was considering adding a six incher to my Outback until I heard that since they are plastic I would not want to use it to mount a rod holder (what I was considering it for) because a large fish could break the track.  Not only would you lose the fish, but your gear as well.  As a cup holder they would be fine.
