Yes he is from Stinson. I lived there till I was 13 and he was one of my childhood friends neighbors. I best remember him as the dude with the porsche with hand controls and surf rack. Paralyzed from a surfing accident . That is bolinas channel he is surfing. Great video , brings a flood if childhood memories. Thanks for posting.

Saw that dude out at that spot probably about when this video was made. Seeing him drop out of that rusted old truck and head to the surf dragging his board behind was a strong image that I never forgot. He had a dog with him that day who stayed on shore running back and forth barking as he paddled out (actually seemed like the dog was trying to warn him of something).

Thanks for pulling this back up or I never would have gotten the story.
