It looks like they are getting a good salmon bite over in Half Moon Bay. I am thinking about trolling Linda Mar on either Saturday or Sunday since I am going to my parents house for Mothers Day.

Are you the guy from SLO? I think we met a couple of times at LM

I'm thinking about aiming sw from Pedro maybe out 5 miles or so and try to cross paths with something Looks like it's either that or Dux right now

Can't be a weekend thing for me though

good luck

Good luck Tim ! I'd join you but I'll be chasing stripers inland (Mendo) instead. Looking forward to your report.

I'll most likely launch out of Linda Mar the following weekend - weather permits. I miss fishing the big blue  :smt002

Yah bluekayak Im the guy you've met at Linda Mar. I actually live on Coalinga now. It looks like I might not make it to Pacifica this weekend  :smt010 have to work in Saturday. Hopfully I can make it some time this month.

Good lusk up at Mendo Mooch. I was living up by Clear Lake for a while and people were telling me all kinds of storys about the stripers up there. Right now the stripers are spawning in the aquaduct last night I got over 30 schoolies.

Tim,
You know how to do it right.  Looking forward to getting down to Linda Mar this year too.  I grew up there ab diving and perch spearing off the south cove and fishing off my surfboard and anything else that would float us out there.  We used to catch a salmon from the beach now and then.  I love that place. Hope to run into you out there sometime this year.

I will be heading out Saturday mid AM. I have a 14 mile run to get in first.  I was thinking of dropping off the crab pot and then looking for stripers.  I let rich do a little recon before I paddle for Salmon.  Too much running to then go off and paddle 5 miles.

Rich, I might be with you.  I'll likely swing by between 6 to 6:30, and if I don't like what I see, will be heading down to Davenport.

got there at 6:30 rich had already launched. Small waves lots of wind chop.  I decided to hold off dropping the crab pot off until after the run to make sure the wind doesn't kick up too bad.  Anyone want to join me it will be at 11:00 or so.
